Happy Palm Sunday!
Villas at Bordighera, 1884
by Claude Monet
A year ago Wednesday three friends told me I should turn my Holy Week meditations into a Substack. I never thought I would have as much to say as I have written this year. As I look back on those early posts, I see so much peaking out between the lines that I was able to expand on and I look forward to excavating the ideas still buried between the rows of words.
Regardless of what has been exhumed and what still needs to be brought into the light, this year has been a gift. Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me, sharing posts, and of course reading my writing! I have one request:
I don’t know what my next job will be or how much time I will have to write. Pray for the Lord’s discernment and guidance.
This Holy Week I won’t be writing a daily post, but I will be writing a Good Friday/Easter Depths post. Keep an eye out for it!
If you are interested in daily meditations on art this Holy Week let me direct you back to last year’s posts (which have been edited):

I'm really looking forward to rereading these posts!
